About Focquet
The Focquet Company was founded in Belgium in 1892. Initially, purchase, repair, and sale of electric generators (electric motors), steam engines, and gas machines were the company’s main business. With the replacement of steam engines by diesel engines in the 1950s, Focquet opted to focus on restoring electrical machinery (generally electric motors). The company has been steadily growing since the 1990s as it modifies its structure. Focquet presented its new squirrel cage engines and slipper motors to the European market in 1996. These engines immediately gained a reputation in Europe for their high quality and competitive price. Focquet moved to its new factory in 2014. The plant has a warehouse of 5,500 square meters, an electrical machinery workshop, and a pump workshop. The company’s warehouse has a capacity of 20,000 electric motors, thus being able to meet customer requests as quickly as possible.
